Iristick.Assist launches for hands-free remote support

WizzEye is now Iristick.Assist. The fieldworker shares a link, the expert opens it in a browser and sees the job in Full HD, with nothing to install.

January 19 2026, WizzEye is Iristick.Assist, and it runs on iPhone as well as Android. A field worker wearing Iristick smart glasses starts a call and sends the link through WhatsApp, Teams or email. The expert opens it in a browser and sees the job in Full HD, with no account to create and nothing to install.

Why does remote support still end in a drive-out?

A technician on site hits a fault they have not seen before, calls the senior expert and tries to describe it over the phone. When the description is not enough, the expert gets in the car, and the customer waits for the second visit.

"Quite often, I had to jump in my car and go to the problem site to help the technician."

"This means travel time for me, waiting time for the mechanic and most importantly, operational downtime for the client," says Patrick Colpaert, Contract Manager Technical Maintenance Services at Engie Services Zuid, in ENGIE's remote assistance story. Once he could see what his technicians saw, he saved about 4 hours of travel a week.

Iristick.Assist is built so the call replaces that drive. It is one-on-one remote support that anyone can start and anyone can join, without IT setting up accounts on either side first.

How does a call with Iristick.Assist work?

The wearer needs the glasses, a phone and the app. The expert needs a browser. A typical call goes like this:

  1. The technician plugs the Iristick.G3 into the phone by USB-C and opens Iristick.Assist. The app creates a session link.

  2. They tap share and send the link through whatever is on the phone: Teams, WhatsApp, SMS or email. There is no directory to search and nobody to set up in advance.

  3. The expert opens the link in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on a desktop, tablet or phone, and sees the live view from the glasses.

  4. The expert presses and holds on the video. The frame freezes and a pointer appears on the technician's display, right where the expert is looking, so nobody has to describe which bolt they mean.

  5. The expert takes a photo with the glasses' camera from the browser, while the technician keeps both hands on the job.

Audio and video are end-to-end encrypted. In a noisy plant room or workshop, the technician can pair the Bluetooth headset they already use to hear the expert clearly, while still speaking through the microphone in the glasses.

A remote expert in a headset sits at a desk with two monitors, watching the live view from a technician's smart glasses.

The expert follows the job from a browser, with nothing installed.

What is new compared to WizzEye?

The name is the smallest change. Iristick.Assist adds an iOS app next to Android, streams in Full HD on both, and puts the expert in charge of the call from the browser: triggering the camera, driving the common controls and pointing on the wearer's display. That matters because the wearer needs no training. Whoever picks up the glasses can be on a call in a minute, and the expert does the steering.

Remote support on Iristick smart glasses already has a track record. Handtmann US resolves 97% of its customers' support cases within 30 minutes this way, without waiting for a technician visit.

Who is Iristick.Assist for, and when is Iristick.Teams the better fit?

Iristick.Assist is a one-to-one call between one fieldworker and one expert. That is the right shape for troubleshooting, a second opinion or a guided repair. When your company runs on Microsoft 365 and the call needs to be a Teams meeting with several people, Iristick.Teams is the better fit.

Iristick.Assist is available now on Google Play and the App Store. The setup guide takes you through your first call.
