Questions
What does the SDK give me access to?
The hardware of the glasses: the cameras, the microphones, the touchpad and other sensors, and the heads-up display, where you draw your own interface. What you build with it is up to you. It is your app, running on the phone with your own logic.
Is the SDK available for Android and iOS?
Yes, there is an SDK for each. Your apps ship through Google Play or the App Store.
Which glasses does it support, and is the G3 supported?
Yes. The SDK supports Iristick.G3, Iristick.G2 and Iristick.H1, and Iristick.H3 support follows at launch. For new projects we recommend the G3, our newest model.
How do we get the SDK?
Through the developer program. You receive credentials, sign an NDA and SDK agreement, and get access to the documentation and sample apps.
Do we need any other apps from Iristick?
No. The SDK stands on its own, so your app does not depend on any other Iristick app.
What does it cost to start?
The developer package costs €1,137.50. It includes one development unit at half price, three months of SDK access with a developer API key and a 30-minute onboarding Q&A. SDK access then renews at €1,000 a year, and extra developer support is €125 per hour. Prices exclude VAT.
